How we help

As parents, we understand the joys and challenges of raising children and young people with conditions such as autism, ADHD, and other neurological differences. That’s why we’re dedicated to creating inclusive, fun, and supportive experiences for families across the Highlands.

Safe & Inclusive Events

We organise activities designed specifically for children and young people with additional needs. Our events provide a judgment-free space where families can relax, connect, and have fun together. These include:

  • Exclusive play sessions in soft play centres

  • Outdoor adventures like woodland experiences

  • Hall-based events with bouncy castles and sensory-friendly activities

  • Seasonal celebrations such as Christmas and Halloween parties

Building a Supportive Community

Connecting with other families who share similar experiences can be a game-changer. Through our events, we help parents, carers, and children:

  • Meet others who truly understand their journey

  • Share experiences and practical advice

  • Access a network of like-minded families for support

How to register

To register your family with This Is Me Highland, please complete this self-referral form. Registration includes a £10 yearly registration fee per family. If this cost is a barrier, then please let us know.

For professional referrals, please complete our professional referral form.

You can self-refer your family if your child has a diagnosed neurological condition or is currently on the NDAS (Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service) waiting list.

We understand the challenges surrounding wait times for NDAS, and we aim to make TIMH accessible to as many families as possible. If your child is not yet on the waiting list, please still get in touch — we also accept referrals from professionals working with your family.
